The Digital Experiences Producers Association Xn Quebec (formerly known as Regroupement des producteurs multimédia) brings together the key players of the Quebec digital creation industry, namely more than 130 studios specializing in the production of content (original or commissioned) for various technological platforms.
Xn Quebec is a catalyst to develop, consolidate and raise the profile of the companies making up the ecosystem of creative, media and cultural industries that are active in all forms of digital expression. It achieves this through a variety of inclusive and rallying activities and events.
Xn Quebec unites the voices of digital creators, in addition to increasing the convergence of expertise and networks. It also promotes synergy between resources and know-how in the realms of production and broadcasting.
• To enhance collaboration between cultural and technological companies as well as within the Quebec business community, in order to create favourable conditions for the growth and development of digital companies that are as innovative as they are creative. Also: to contribute to raising their profile.
• Strengthening the foundations of the industry in order to support digital creativity and its reach, both nationally and internationally, via representation, co-creation, broadcasting and entrepreneurship support activities.
• Contributing to the development of strong Quebec intellectual properties with an important potential for international visibility.
Working hand in hand with other organisations and associations evolving in the ecosystem of digital media and entertainment in order to decompartmentalise the different sectors of activity, while sharing the know-how and creativity of each of these sectors. Via different activities, Xn Quebec wants to position itself at the centre of the structuring issues of the Quebec digital industry.
Xn Quebec is one of the main interlocutors of public and governmental institutions in order to ensure the implementation of policies and conditions that support the development of the digital industry. Xn Quebec also oversees the establishment of clear rules and business practices. For this purpose, it negotiates and manages collective agreements in the multimedia industry with artist associations, providing continuous assistance to its member producers in that area.
Xn Quebec offers its members a meeting place that enables networking while also organising events that allow them to remain at the forefront of innovation. With its wide network of new media companies, the Association of digital experience producers makes it possible for members to present their ideas and projects to producers and creators who share the same ambitions as them. Since 2010, Xn Quebec has organised the NUMIX AWARDS Gala, which is recognised as the reference in terms of excellence and innovation in the Quebec digital media industry.

Vincent Morisset est le fondateur du studio AATOAA (à toi). Réalisateur, producteur, inventeur, il est un leader mondial et un véritable pionnier du film interactif. Vincent a collaboré avec Arcade Fire pendant plus de douze ans. La vidéo Neon Bible est considérée comme la toute première vidéo musicale interactive. Les clients d’AATOAA comprennent Google, Red Bull, le QdS et l’ONF. Son travail a été présenté dans Wired, Time, Le Monde, au MoMA, à la Gaité Lyrique, Sundance, SXSW et la Biennale de Venise. Il a remporté un Emmy, un Lion à Cannes, le FWA du Site de l’année et de nombreux Webbys. Vincent est l’instigateur du Manifeste pour les nouvelles écritures. Il a fait partie de la Commission numérique de la SODEC.

Alexandre Gravel is a founding partner and the president of Toast Studio, an agency he founded 15 years ago. In the media and marketing industry, he has been in charge of many multiplatform, converging and content-based projects for many clients. His experience allows him to get involved with the strategy side as well as the discoverability or performance of projects. As a speaker and moderator, he regularly gives presentations about branded content, content marketing and multiplatform strategy.

Cindy évolue dans l’univers numérique québécois depuis plus de 8 ans. Elle a contribué au rayonnement d’entreprises des domaines du web et du jeu vidéo lors de son passage à l’Alliance numérique en organisant des événements visant les échanges et la collaboration.
Elle a joint l’équipe d’Akufen il y a 6 ans. Depuis, elle a oeuvré à la production d’expériences et de webdocumentaires qui ont marqué l’industrie tels que les livres interactifs des éditions Fonfon avec La Boîte à pitons et LOOV, l’application d’éducation à la sexualité de Zone 3. Elle collabore au développement de projets interactifs novateurs avec les producteurs et les institutions culturelles. Elle participe également à l’évolution des employés, au recrutement de nouveaux talents et au rayonnement de l’agence.

Nicolas S. Roy est le président et directeur de création chez Dpt. Nicolas conçoit, produit et réalise des projets interactifs multi-plateformes dans le secteur artistique et commercial depuis plus de 15 ans. Sa pratique polyvalente, alliant le design et la technologie, l’a amené à travailler avec des institutions telles que l’Office national du filmdu Canada, Ubisoft, France Télévisions, Autodesk, Samsung et ARTE.
Son travail est reconnu à l’international, avec des prix qui incluent des Webbys, One Show Interactive Silver Pencil, FIPA d’Or, Applied Arts Interactive, Gémeaux, Communication Arts, Boomerangs et FWA en plus d’être en nomination pour un Emmy Award numérique.

For nearly 30 years, Gilbert Ouellette has devoted himself to various professional activities in the media, communication and digital media sectors. Within his own companies, associations and other organisations, his practice allowed him to assert his skills in analysing and understanding evolving issues. Meanwhile, he also delivers tangible results, be it television and multimedia productions, events of all kinds, studies and research, public presentations, articles or informative texts.

Geneviève Levasseur is the president, founder and creative director of the Ingrid Ingrid studio. Employed by Radio-Canada from 2000 to 2013, she created new platforms such as Bandeapart.fm, in addition to developing new radio formats and acting as creative director for all the digital projects of the public broadcaster. As director or Radio-Canada.ca, she successfully repositioned the brand, editorial content and creation. Since 2013, Geneviève has accompanied several prestigious companies and organisations in their digital transformation, e.g. Télé-Québec, the NFB, Just for Laughs, the Quartier des spectacles partnership, and Agora de la danse. Now as the head of Ingrid Ingrid, she experiments, documents and reinvents the relatopnship we have with our surroudings by creating exceptional (and often entertaining) interactive pieces and producing surprising content.
COO | Halo Création
Pascal Pelletier, CCO for Halo Création, has vast experience in production and direction. He founded Productions Figure 55 in 2006, where his talent and expertise were used in developing creations that can be both classical and quirky, integrating the multiple facets of the new digital technologies. In 2007, he also became a shareholder of Studio Plasma. Then he proceeds with his partners to the merger of both companies in order to launch Halo Création in 2018. In recent years he distinguished himself in immersive productions in 360° and virtual reality. Since 2012, he has completed more than forty projects.

As director of multiplatform content for TV5 and Unis TV, Jérôme Hellio provides and defines original content for the television networks as well as the digital worlds of the TV5 group. Over the last few years, he has accompanied various cultural companies in their digital strategy planning. He also obtained several mandates to develop original or convergent digital projects. Jérôme was previously responsible of the Radio-Canada.ca and ICI Tou.TV programming slate and of their deployment on mobile platforms. Over the last 10 years, he managed content creation for the digital platforms of Radio-Canada, including the development of complementary original content for its radio and television shows.

Marie Eve Berlinger has worked in the communication and interactive media industry for more than fifteen years, passing through various sectors such as advertisement/marketing, interactive media, documentary filmmaking, mobile apps, traditional broadcasters, and most recently, YouTubers, which has allowed her to become YouTube Certified. Marie Eve is interested in both content and format, believing that the two must intrinsically make sense.
