L’institut national de l’image et du son (INIS) is the only cooperative training institution for the audiovisual sector. Its mandate is to structure, develop, and deliver training programs that satisfy evolving job market needs thanks to the sharing of contributions by employers in accordance with the Quebec government’s Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition. This sharing initiative has led to joint operating rules and bundled services.
