THE XN TOUR AT THE NATIONAL BANK: A GREAT SUCCESS

On June 19, the Xn Tour brought together more than 30 persons on the 18th floor of the National Bank, a new partner of Xn Quebec.
Under the theme “Everything you always wanted to know about tax credits but were afraid to ask”, the event hosted by Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton managed to answer all the questions of the participants.
What are the tax credits eligibility requirements for a digital production? How does the country where a production will be broadcast play a role in the granting of a Quebec credit? And how does it work for a multimedia installation?
These questions were tackled by the experts from Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton: Éric Julien, associate – Canadian Taxation, Valérie Trudelle, counselor – Canadian Taxation, Sebastian Alberione, senior manager – Taxation and Innovation, and Pascal Perreault, associate – Taxation and Innovation.
The inevitable question of the involvement of Netflix as an American broadcaster/shareholder in relation with the granting of Canadian tax credits was also addressed.
The Xn tour is taking a summer break and will be back in September.
