Manuel Chantre - Artiste
Manuel Chantre is a digital visual artist, composer, and production director. His interdisciplinary approach combines video, light, music, interactivity, and physical fabrication. He designs and produces immersive installations, sculptures, performances, and public artworks.
Chantre explores fictional worlds inspired by technology, the tradition of optical art, and the power of collective narratives.
Since 2004, his work has been featured in over 70 international events, in collaboration with renowned institutions such as the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), Mutek, the Mapping Festival, Ubisoft, the International Digital Art Biennial, Desjardins, le Musée des Plaines d’Abraham, and the Optech Research Centre. He has also collaborated with acclaimed artists including Rhodnie Désir, Johnny Ranger, Guillaume Beaudoin, Simon Laroche, and Thomas Ouellet Frederick, with whom he has received awards.
