Who can join Xn Québec as a member?
You are a company, an organization or a self-employed worker, and a significant part of your activities is dedicated to the production of digital content or experiences, for example, virtual or augmented reality, interactive installations, mapping, web series, podcasts, edutainment applications, and more. You are a student or have recently completed your studies at a recognized institution in Québec, and your field of study is related to digital creativity.
How much are membership fees?
Annual membership fees for Xn Québec are different for each member category (corporate member, student or graduate, professional or partner). For corporate members, the rate is set based on the number of people employed by the company. Take a look at the table below to find out the fee for your category.

Are fees calculated on a pro rata basis if I join in the middle of the year?
Membership must be renewed annually. One month before your membership expires, you will receive a reminder from Xn Québec and will be asked to complete the renewal form, after which an invoice will be sent to you. You can become a member at any time during the year and will have access to all member benefits for one year once you have paid your membership fee.
I paid my membership fee by credit card. Are renewal fees automatically charged to my credit card?
No, renewal fees are not automatically charged to your credit card. One month before your membership expires, you will receive a reminder from Xn Québec and will need to fill out the renewal form, after which you can pay your membership fee via our online payment platform. Do you accept all membership applications?
Before accepting your application, we need to validate your eligibility. To be eligible, you must belong to one of the following categories:
- A Francophone Canadian company or organization (based on certain criteria) with a significant part of its activities dedicated to the production of digital experiences or content (for example, virtual or augmented reality, interactive installations, mapping, web series, podcasts, edutainment applications or other appropriate work or experience)
- Self-employed workers residing in Québec and whose activities are significantly related to the production of digital experiences
- A student or recent graduate from a recognized institution in Québec, in a field of study related to digital creativity

Following your application, we will contact you within 48 working hours, except in special circumstances.
May I cancel my membership?
You may cancel your membership at any time. If you cancel your membership, we will remove your name from our list of members on our web site, and you will no longer have access to the benefits reserved for members. However, we will not be able to issue a refund for the current year.
May I be a member of Xn Québec even if I do not live in Québec or if my company is not established in the province?
Membership is reserved for companies with a place of business in Quebec and professionals based in Québec.
How can I subscribe, unsubscribe or change my e-mail address for mailing lists and Xn Québec?
To subscribe to our newsletters for the general public, click on the “SUBSCRIBE” link at the bottom of our website and fill out the form. If you would like to receive information about the NUMIX AWARDS, please register at numix.ca.

How do I edit my company page in the member directory?
To update your company profile, simply log in to your account here. Your user code is your e-mail address. If this is the first time you log in, you can personalize your password by clicking on “Lost password?”

How can I access your funding directory?
Access to the funding directory is reserved for Xn Québec members. If you are already a member, your access code is supplied with your registration. If you encounter any difficulties, please feel free to contact us at info@xnquebec.co.
How can I add my event to the industry calendar?
The industry calendar is a collaborative resource dedicated to events in the creative and cultural industries. To add your event to the industry calendar, simply fill in our submission form. We upload your information within 48 hours.
How can I contact l’Effet Québec, Xn Québec’s export expertise hub?
The service is available to Xn Québec members with a view to exporting worldwide.
To be eligible to join l’Effet Québec: Pôle d’expertise en exportation, you must meet the four conditions below:
- Be a Québec-based company
- Be able to engage in export activities
- Have bilingual (French and English) material
- Have a demo reel
